Woven wrap carry by Eddie

Babywearing support for the question you actually have.

Practical, body-aware support with carrier fit, comfort, technique and learning — from one focused question to a more in-depth consultation.

What would help right now?

You might come with a very specific question, or you may need more time to explore different options. You do not need to know in advance which carrier or technique is “right”.

We can work with questions such as:

  • Is this carrier adjusted well for me and my baby?

  • Why does carrying feel uncomfortable or painful?

  • How can I make a specific carry more workable?

  • How do I learn or refine a woven-wrap technique?

  • What type of carrier might fit our needs?

  • How can carrying adapt as the baby, caregiver or situation changes?

The aim is not one universally correct carrying solution, but something safe and workable for the people actually using it.

Stacked Knitted Fabrics

30-minute focused question — online

30 minutes

Google Meet

For one well-defined question that can reasonably be explored online.

This can work well for a quick fit check, troubleshooting or clarification. It is not intended for full carrier selection or learning a complete new wrap technique from the beginning.

White Thread Spool

60-minute consultation

60 minutes

online or in person depending on the booking option

For a more focused consultation, adjustment or practice around a specific carrying situation.

There is enough time to look more closely at what is happening, try adjustments and practise the relevant steps.

2-hour consultation

2 hours

In person

For more in-depth selection, learning, practice and refinement.

This is the better format when you want to compare options, learn something new in detail, or need enough time to practise without rushing.

What happens in a consultation?

Look

We start with the actual situation: caregiver, baby, carrier or wrap, comfort, movement and what you would like to be different.

Adjust

We explore relevant adjustments, options or techniques rather than trying to fit you into one predetermined solution.

Practice

Where appropriate, you have time to try the steps yourself and notice what feels understandable and workable.

A body-aware approach

Comfort matters for both baby and caregiver. I pay attention not only to technical positioning, but also to movement, sensory experience, fatigue, confidence and what your body is telling you while carrying.

There is no requirement to tolerate discomfort simply because a position or carrier is supposed to work.

Woven ring slings - Eddie's stash

Equipment and lending

You are welcome to bring the carrier or wrap you already use or would like help with.

A woven wrap or ring sling from older private stock may occasionally be available to borrow. Structured carriers are not offered as a lending service.

Group wrap workshops

Small group workshops in woven-wrap skills are also planned, including:

  • wrap-tying foundations

  • front carrying with a woven wrap

  • back carrying with a woven wrap

Dates, venue, capacity and price will be published when a workshop is confirmed.

Not sure how much time you need?

If you have one narrow question, the 30-minute online consultation is usually the clearest starting point. If you want to learn, compare options or practise in more depth, choose a longer consultation.
