Useful material before, between and beyond sessions

This is where you can find Whole in One resources about Somatic Experiencing®, neuroqueer experience, research, everyday regulation, babywearing and Sárkányos Vajáklak.

Some materials are practical introductions. Others look more closely at research, professional questions or the thinking behind how I work.

You do not need to be a client or programme participant to use them.

Somatic Experiencing® basics

Plain-language material about Somatic Experiencing®, what happens in sessions, pacing, choice and common questions about body-oriented work.

The #SEkvagyisszák series is primarily Hungarian, with English resources added where useful.

#ScienceOfSE

Research notes, publications and evidence relevant to Somatic Experiencing®, somatic practice, interoception, autonomic regulation and related areas.

The aim is not simply to ask whether a study supports an appealing idea, but also:

  • what was actually studied

  • how strong the design was

  • what the results do and do not show

  • who was represented in the research

  • where uncertainty remains

  • interoception and different ways of accessing bodily information

  • movement and stimming

  • predictability and explicit consent

  • body awareness and dysphoria

  • distinguishing difference from patterns a person actually wants to change

Neuroqueer adaptations of Somatic Experiencing®

I am developing the conference work into a professional paper on neuroqueer adaptations of Somatic Experiencing®.

The website will be updated as the publication status changes. Until then, this is described as work in preparation rather than as an accepted or published paper.
