A structured space for change.
Coaching may be a good route when you want structured space for a decision, change, transition, goal or concrete next step.
Could coaching be useful right now?
Coaching may fit when you want to:
-
make a decision between different options
-
navigate a transition or change
-
clarify a goal that still feels vague
-
move from thinking about something to taking a next step
-
explore what is getting in the way of an action
-
find a realistic experiment rather than a perfect solution
You do not need to arrive with a fully formed goal. We can begin by clarifying what actually needs attention.
What happens in a coaching session?
Clarify
We name the decision, transition, goal or question you want to work with and identify what matters most right now.
Explore
We look at options, constraints, resources, competing needs and patterns that may be relevant.
Act
We identify a realistic next step, experiment or decision that you can take back into everyday life.
Coaching stays coaching
We may include information from the body — for example, noticing what happens when you imagine different options or next steps — but coaching does not quietly turn into trauma work.
The agreed goal and frame remain visible. If the focus changes substantially, we discuss this explicitly and decide together whether to continue within coaching or whether another form of support would fit better.
Coaching or Somatic Experiencing®?
If your main question is about a decision, goal, transition or next action, coaching may be the clearer route.
If the main difficulty is overwhelm, bodily survival responses, shutdown, activation or the ongoing effects of difficult experiences, Somatic Experiencing® may be a better starting point.
You do not need to diagnose this perfectly in advance. If the frame needs to change, we discuss it rather than changing modality without agreement.
